The main city in the Gobi Desert called Dalanzadgad. There is 1 airport and no roads at all. Livestock has been replaced by tourism. This direction has recently become very popular. Many foreigners flock to Mongolia to watch this exotic.
Greater competition between families makes people dump. And then to survive. To give their place to visitors and get at least some penny, family are crowded in one yurt for 5-7 people.
Someone has camels and is considered a "rich nomad." This is a very profitable business.
The desert has its own rules. Water sources are located in certain places. Everybody drinks from there. At these moments, the line between wealth and poverty, people and animals disappears. Everything becomes a single being as it could be. The desert teaches care and mercy.
